How do I book you as our wedding florist?

Once you have sent us your floral inquiry form, found here, we will create a floral design estimate and a brief visual mood board. From there, we will chat about changes you may want to make, but once we have it relatively close to what you are looking for we require a signed contract and 50% retainer. Once you have signed the contract you are still welcome to make changes! The contract and retainer just ensures that we will be available for your wedding date and will continue to work with you as your personal florist to perfect your wedding floral design!

How far in advance should we contact you about our wedding flowers?

We do not have a hard and fast rule about this, but we do ask that you have a set wedding date and a venue booked before seriously inquiring. We are happy to give recommendations on venues, of course, but need to be sure that whatever wedding date you end up booking with the venue is also available on our calendar.

We work with clients anywhere from 14 months out before their wedding date to 60 days out. However, we think the sweet spot is about 6-7 months before the big day.

What is Flowering Minds?

Flowering Minds is a Floral Design Education Membership that provides weekly virtual floral design classes, access to all past classes and a variety of other membership perks. Our members enjoy access to over 70 floral design classes in the library and continual fresh virtual design classes that we release every month.

Once I am subscribed to Flowering Minds, how do I access the online classes?

Your online floral design classes can be found under “My Library” at floweringminds.education. If you are a Flowering Minds member you will see “Flowering Minds” within your library. From there, you can expand a series of floral design categories to see the full online class library.

Can I watch your online floral design classes anytime?

If you are a Flowering Minds member, you have access anytime to watch the entire library of floristry courses! However, we only accept new members a few times per year, so please join the waitlist if you would like to become a member and access all the perks of our online flower community!

When will the new floral design classes be released online?

We aim to release a new virtual class every week. Due to supply issues and other hiccups that happen in life, sometimes this doesn’t happen. What we can guarantee is that we release 4 new classes every month for our Flowering Minds members!

How can I connect with the flowering minds community of florists?

Once you have become a member of Flowering Minds, you have access to our private Facebook group! Within this group you have a safe space to ask questions, start conversations or share your own insights. Florists from around the world are a part of this group and have a variety of different experiences in floral design. Many florists have met in real life since meeting in the Facebook group and have grown to become friends! This is also a great place to ask Alyssa questions that she will answer publicly within the FB group.
